- A: The spreader does feature a calibrated flow-rate adjuster with a reference chart, which allows users to adjust the material output to some extent. However, it is primarily designed for general applications like grass seed and fertilizer, not for ultra-low-rate precision spreading. It may over-apply or distribute unevenly at very low settings. - A: Normally the adjuster lever setting should be on a 3 - 3.5 for granular fertilizer range between 8' - 10’(ft.) broadcast width. Due to the sizes of granular fertilizer settings are intended for reference only.a year agoHelpful?

Complete garbage

The handle broke halfway through spreading clover seed. Most of the seed was thrown into me, not out away from me before the handle broke. No way to set calibration. Absolutely the worst piece of junk I’ve ever tried to use.

Worst bag speader I've ever used. Hard to set gate and even after tightening bolts and screw, it still hangs up. Used to put 2 bags of fertilizer and 1 bag of seed out. Taking it back tomorrow.

This is a piece of CRAP… the first time I used it the gears came loose at my food plot so I tightened them up when I got home… the second time I used it the gears came loose again so I tightened them up again. I used it today and it did the same thing so I recommend that if you use it take your tool box with you.. don’t waste your money.

Worthless. Gears started to slip on the second day of use and i’m currently going to buy my second one this week because i’ve got to get this seed in the ground by the end of the day.
