[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and having the plug in option is a great idea. Went thru the batteries sooner than expected so need to plan ahead and have an extension cord handy

There's nothing on the site that says you need "special" 60 V batteries. So now I have to return it.

This unit as stated as a tool only model and does not include a battery or a charger. This unit (4700502) is a corded/cordless unit. It can be used with the included cord (cord length 10F) or with Greenworks 60V battery; battery and charger sold separately. Important Note: 60V 8Ah battery not compatible* In DC mode, you must install two batteries at the same time to start the machine. Users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 60V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 60V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. Lastly, the higher the ampere-hour(Ah) ratings are on the batteries, the longer the run time will be. Handy to have around.

Awesome addition to our home. Can be used with a 110V plug or batteries. To use with the batteries you must have two. The versatility is great especially working on projects where extension cords would be a hassle. As for suction it is extremely powerful.
