The most fun you’ll have sitting down going 25 MPH

The go kart is very well made and the batteries are heavy which is a good thing. The only downside was it came crated up not put together. I’m pretty handy and had no problems putting it together but I was under the impression that it would be assembled. So be ready to turn some wrenches. It has a tool kit but I used my own tools. My young grandkids love it, I may have a future NASCAR driver. One suggestion leave it set in the slower speed until they get used to it. This kart has earned its nick name “Dodge Go Green” for its color and its speed.

Kids love it, now that it’s usable. I picked up the go kart already assembled, but when I got it home, I found that several bolts were not tight, allowing the roll cage to basically just fall off. Also, the seatbelts were installed incorrectly. I had to completely remove them and install them properly to make them usable. Then, there was a crash and one of the wheels was broken. Turns out greenworks does not make replacement wheels available, and the design is slightly different than anyone else on the market. So, after a lot of searching and frustration, I ended up buying a wheel for a Coleman go kart and swapping the bearings to make it work. Overall, fun machine, but I’d strongly suggest getting a Coleman and checking it thoroughly for safety before letting your kids use it.

Ok except when you need to stop after 200 miles

I purchased this December. Kids have been enjoying it until the brakes quit working. I then pulled the rear calipers and found that one pad was almost completely gone and the others were worn pretty badly. I then realized we had a bad caliper that was leaking fluid. I called Greenworks and they weren’t much help at all. Can’t find the factory brake pads anywheres and Greenworks doesn’t have them in stock. I have to now retrofit the brakes on something I paid $2k for. Very frustrating!
