finally found the one! quality is awesome and assembly is super easy. i love that the hose adapter is metal and the included lead in hose is of good quality. it hold my 100' hose with room to spare. the reel turns very smoothly. only potential negative is that it doesn't have a hose guide but that's not an issue for me. i would definitely buy it again. i don't mind paying a little more for quality products and this certainly fits in that category.

There is no shortage of inexpensive, plastic hose reels and if those meet your needs than skip this one. I needed a short, well-built reel that would sit below the cover of my truck bed and come out when I needed to wash down the boat. I tried using something other than a reel for the 100' of hose but even the best ones were hard to stow and had multiple kinks in them when I hooked them up. This reel solved all of those problems...I love it.
