Q: Will it work on Leland cypress stumps that were cut down a year ago

- A: Stump Killer RTU works best when it is applied immediately after cutting. Even applying a few hours after cutting will reduce how the product is taken up by the stump. If the stump is a year old, I would recommend making a fresh cut and then applying the Stump Killer.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: This stuff works great. It has killed every stump I have ever put it on and I have used it for years. I apply it generously from a container with an old paint brush. make sure the cuts are fresh within a few hours and completely cover all cut areas. I have never used it on juniper as in my area when you cut a juniper to the ground it does not grow back. I have to believe it would work.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: I have not used the spray on product only the 32 oz liquid. Following label directions, on a fresh cut, the stump starts to die immediately. Have used this product for several years and do not have regrowth on stumps, when applied following label directions. Hope this helps.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: Absolutely. Cut the stump as close to the ground as you can and soak what remains with the stump killer. You may have to trim little branches that come out during the next growing cycle. I have used this process a hundred times with great results! Good luck!5 years agoHelpful?
Q: I had 2 big and tall crepe myrtles trees that were cut to stumps. I’m trying to kill the roots and stumps. How much would I need of Gordon’s stump killer?

- A: Apply enough Gordon's Stump Killer to a freshly cut stump to cover the surface area. The amount needed would depend on the size of the stump. The product should be applied immediately after cutting to get the best results, otherwise the product will not be taken up as well and you may not get the control you are expecting. If it is an older stump, try t make a fresh cut before applying, if possible.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this product effective on very small stumps like 1/4 to 2" sapling stumps like those I have all over my perennial gardens? Also, is it effective on mulberry and Chinese elm?

Good buckthorn killer

I use this to kill buckthorn on my property. It works great for plants that are too big to pull as long as you cut close to the base and then treat the stump.
