The Gordon's 1 qt. Brush Killer for Hard-to-Kill Brush gives you effective control of the toughest species of brush. Ideal for pastures, hedgerows, roadside ditches, farmsteads and other non-crop areas, this herbicide penetrates leaves, woody stems and cut surfaces of the plant and then moves through the vascular system. A quart of concentrated brush killer makes up to 16 gal. of spray solution. Visual symptoms usually appear in 1-3 weeks.

  • Gordon's Brush Killer controls 50+ listed brush species, including mesquite, kudzu, blackberry and multi-flora rose
  • Ideal for pastures, hedgerows, roadside ditches, farmsteads and other non-crop areas
  • Herbicide penetrates leaves, woody stems and cut surfaces of the plant, and then moves through the vascular system of the plant
  • Visual symptoms usually appear in 1-3 weeks
  • Please note: Gordon's Brush Killer is not for use on mesquite in California
  • Backed by a limited warranty
  • Can be mixed in water, diesel or kerosene
  • Use a pump-up hand sprayer, backpack sprayer or tow-behind sprayer with wand
  • Application: Foliar applications are best in the spring or early summer. Cut stump and basal bark applications are better in fall, winter and early spring.
  • Application to woody plants is limited to 1 application per year
  • Restrictions: No restrictions for non-lactating dairy animals (horses, cows, sheep and goats). Keep lactating dairy animals off of treated area until the next growing season following product application. Withdraw livestock from grazing or consumption of treated area at least 3 days before slaughter. Do not cut hay for 14 days after treatment.
  • Once the spray has dried, it's safe for people and pets to re-enter the area
  • Rainfast 3 hours after application
  • Mow either 2 days before application or 2 days after application
  • Replanting: Wait 3 weeks after application before re-seeding. New seed must be germinated and mowed 3 times before application (approximately 6 weeks after seedling emergence).
  • Shelf life is at least 3 - 5 years when stored according to label directions

Q: I have some 5 ft tall bushes cut down to the ground. They got about a 3 to 4 inch in circumference stump. Will this product kill them,some branches starting to grow out of the stump.

Ive used this product for over 10 years and it always delivers. Sure it may take 1-3 weeks to drop the woody material, but you better believe its coming down and staying down.
