Enjoy lawn weed control with the Gordon's 1 qt. Brush Killer for Large Property, which works on tough brush, vines and trees. This brush killer concentrate is developed specifically for larger properties and protects against poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, thistle and black locust. This herbicide is ideal for use along fence rows and property lines (spot treatment). Visual symptoms usually appear in 1-3 weeks.1 quart covers approximately 21,000 sq. ft. of lawns

  • Concentrated formulation developed specifically for larger properties
  • Gordon's Brush Killer controls tough listed weeds and brush, including poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, thistle and black locust
  • Ideal for use along fence rows and property lines (spot treatment)
  • Mix 2 - 5 fl. oz. weed killer concentrate per 1 gal. of water
  • Active ingredients include 2,4-D amine, Triclopyr amine and dicamba
  • Herbicide enters the plant through leaves, woody stems and cut surfaces, and then moves through the vascular system of the plant
  • Visual symptoms usually appear in 1-3 weeks
  • Application: Labeled for both broadcast and spot treatment of broadleaf weeds in pastures and lawns, and for spot treatments of brush, woody plants and vines. It can be mixed with liquid fertilizers, like Gordon's Liquid Lawn & Pasture Fertilizer 20-0-0 with Micronutrients, when making broadcast applications for broadleaf weeds.
  • For use with a hand-operated sprayer, backpack sprayer or tow-behind sprayer
  • When to apply: Foliar applications are best in the spring and fall for broadleaf weed control. Applications to woody brush and vines should be in the spring to early summer when plants are in full-leaf stage.
  • Limitations: Limited to 2 broadcast applications per year for non-croplands and residential turfgrass, with a minimum of 30 days between applications. Application to woody plants is limited to 1 application per year. Applications to pasture and rangelands is limited to one broadcast application per year.
  • Restrictions: No restrictions for non-lactating dairy animals (horses, cows, sheep and goats). Keep lactating dairy animals off of treated area until the next growing season following product application. Withdraw livestock from grazing or consumption of treated area at least 3 days before slaughter. Do not cut hay for 14 days after treatment.
  • Once the spray has dried, it's safe for people and pets to re-enter the area
  • Rainfast 6 hours after application
  • Mow either 2 days before application or 2 days after application.
  • Replanting: Wait 3 weeks after application before re-seeding. New seed must be germinated and mowed 3 times before application (approximately 6 weeks after seedling emergence).

    A: This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters or rinsate.

    A: The product label states: Withdraw livestock from grazing treated grass or consumption of treated hay at least 3 days before slaughter. Except for lactating dairy animals and the slaughter restriction, there are no grazing restrictions for animals (including horses, cows, goats, and sheep).

This is some serious weed killer. I took out black locust with it. This bottle contains concentrated liquid that you mix with water- goes far!

This is an excellent product when you can get it. I especially recommend it it you have a gravel driveway. I buy this every year when my driveway starts to turn green. But be careful when spraying it. This kills everything so you don't have to spray again until next year.
