The GloWear Unisex Type R Class 2 Hi-Vis FR Safety Vest is compliant with ASTM F1506 for flame resistance. Designed to be worn as part of a complete FR garment system, this ANSI-approved mesh work vest is tested and certified to an ATPV 5.1 cal/cm, NFPA 70E CAT 1. This flame-resistant vest is made of 60% modacrylic mesh and 40% cotton for comfort and breathability. This reflective vest also features a 2 in. FR reflective tape for heightened visibility at night or in low-light environments. Included in the reflective vest are one interior pocket, one dual pen pocket, and a single flame-resistant radio mic tab. There is D-ring access on the back of the reflective vest for wearing over fall protection harnesses, and a hook and amp loop closure for easy on and off. This FR high-visibility vest is ideal for workers in occupations with electrical arc flash risk, including electrical and utilities.

  • Certified and tested NFPA 2112 and NFPA 70E, ATPV 6.6 cal/cm2, CAT 1 to protect against both flash fire and arc flash hazards
  • Reflective vest meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 standards for hi-vis apparel
  • Breathable comfort material with Westex by Milliken DH material for easy-breathing, moisture-wicking performance
  • 2 in. FR ANSI-compliant 3M Scotchlite reflective and made with 48% Tencel, 40% modacrylic, 12% Para-aramid
  • 1 interior and 1 dual-layer pen pocket included
  • Easy to get one and off with FR hook and amp loop closure
  • Single radio mic tab made from FR modacrylic material
  • Flame-resistant vest is machine washable for 25 washes, follow garment instructions

Comfortable Enough To Forget I'm Wearing It

Working in an environment where light isn't always great, or where there's just a lot going on, it can be easy to get overlooked. Getting overlooked can get you killed. This vest helps with that problem, and it sits comfortably over my work uniform to the point where I can forget that I have it on, which is exactly what you want when adding layers to your ensemble.
