Gerber Knives have become poor quality knives!
I've always trusted Gerber Knives in the past because of the reputation for quality steel and excellent craftsmanship.
That ALL changed in the past 2 weeks.
First the belt clip started getting loose. No big deal because I carry it in my pocket.
Then the tip of the blade broke off while I was cutting a piece of 1/8" cardboard.
The final straw was when the assisted opening mechanism quit working.
I've owned this knife for less than 6 months.
Going to try a warranty claim but I'm not holding my breath.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Clip keeps coming loose.

It's a decent pocket knife, it has remained sharp since I purchased it. what I hate the most is that the clip keeps getting loose.

Highbrow review
Bought my 1st Gerber in 1998. Great steel, holds an edge well, well built knives. Just bought the Highbrow, love everything about it except....the "sliding lock". It felt kinda weak, hard to disengage and flimsy. It kept want to slide back into locked position and never really felt like a good solid lock. After 3 days of using it, the lock refuses to engage.to locked.
