I like to actually use the product for a week or two before I leave any review to see how it holds up. I have been using the last week to fix a mower deck. I really like the handle grip but wish the handle was about 3 or 4 inches longer. Its definitely a good value for the money and would buy another one. Its a great hammer for using in tight spots like I was in fixing the mower deck.

This Gearwrench 3lb hammer is extremely well built. It’s balanced nicely, a comfortable grip and plenty of striking power. It feels very solid in my hands. I’ve had it for a month it’s held up and is the first hammer I grab out of my tool box. It’s great for driving punches since it’s compact and I can get it where I need it. It’s held up to all the farm work I can throw at it. And I’m not worried about it breaking because it has the Gearwrench lifetime warranty. 10/10 highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a 3lb hammer.

Its a hammer, it does what its advertised to do and does so well. Its a great size for hammering in stakes or other things and still not overly large or cumbersome. The balance is good for the size it had and the head is securely attached and does not appear to have any visable fasteners or things that could work loose. The grip has a nice ergonomic feel and has grippy rubber that doesn’t feel cheap or sticky. Whatever the handle material is made out of seems to do a good job at absorbing any shock as well.
