Great little charger/maintainer. Must have for anyone that has a car sitting for a period of time

This is the smallest amperage (1.5 amps) of the three that Gearwrench offers. They are all the same with the exception of the amps and the physical size. As an owner of a muscle car that sits in the garage most of the week, this is perfect. It takes about half a day to bring back a drained battery back to its peak voltage. It's small enough that I can hang it on the side of the garage when not in use. It comes with alligator clips and direct screw on wire attachment with a pretty long cable to reach the power outlet. I kept the charger /maintainer connected when I don't use the car. It doesn't over-charge the battery but keeps it in tip-top shape. So far so good! No complaints so far.

Excellent battery maintainer/charger

Gear wrench GWBC015 seems to be a good all-around battery charger and maintainer. I’ve used this unit for multiple batteries in the 6v and 12v settings there’s also four different battery options to choose from, which is definitely a plus.
So far, I’ve charged six different batteries (1) 6V AGM (2) 12V AGM’s (3) different sized 12V Lead acid which is labeled STD on this charger. also it let me know One of my batteries was bad.
It’s recently been trickle charging a power sports battery and is operating as intended.
I like that this unit is lightweight/portable and the cables are long enough to reach under the hood of a vehicle while the unit is sitting on the floor and came with ring terminals in the box also uses easy to find SAE connectors on the charging cables.
The one drawback is the screen is a little dim in direct sunlight.

Nice digital readout

I don’t drive my truck very often so I like to hook up a charger every few months. The included harness bolts on and makes it easier to hook up really quickly. Only wish it came with a cover so when it isn’t in use it wouldn’t get dirty inside. Plus side is its long enough to sit on the ground while in use. Others I have used are too short.

Keeps your battery at full charge!

Got this to keep the battery on the race car charged. Works just like it should. Comes with 2 sets of leads. One for permanent mounting and one with clips. It is only a slow charge/maintainer but that is perfect for me. I just set it up, pushed the button, and it went!
It clearly shows the charge rate and the charge status.
