Q: What kind of bottom does this have? I too am looking for something for a cat. I want my cat to be able to have access to grass while it it.

- A: The bottom is nylon and the structure is enclosed.The nice part about this tent is that its portable, i can move it in and out of the sun and not worry about my cat getting out.5 years agoHelpful?

It works for newborns but an active or hyper puppy can knock it over and escape with ease. It needs some tie downs and stakes added to it.

Best idea ever! I foster neo-natal kittens and needed a way to help them socialize without being loose in the house. This pet tent is just what I needed. Tall enough that I can put their scratchers and toys in it. The top opening lets me reach in to pet and feed, and the side opening is great for litter scooping. Easy to move around and the mesh has held up well.
