I had made my own out of 1/2 " conduit. It kept breaking so I thought I would try this one. Works fine. There is a review that says it willl flip and twist. Yrs it does occasionally happen especially if the wire gets hung. But if you are doing it one man it works. I will keep using this. Would recommend if you are fencing in an area that you have a small path or one man operation.

Hard to find any type of barb wire unroller. This is basically a bar that goes through the barb wire…problem is after the barb wire is about a 1/4 the way used up (so 3/4 roll left), the wire starts catching on the sides of the tool, the spool starts to deform, and every time it catches, you have to stop (with your arm being yanked out of its socket) and attempt to resolve the issue. Ran a few hundred feet off a spool, and now I’m looking for other options. Please don’t waste your time.

Needs to be heavier duty. It’s not sturdy enough to handle a heavy roll of barb wire. This can make you work harder, especially over rough ground.

used and it's rusty and missing paint.
