The Bekaert 5 ft. Fence Stretcher Bar is a fence stretching tool designed for tensioning all styles of 5 ft. woven wire. This fence stretcher bar has 6 vertically spaced wedges that are staggered for a maximum hold. This woven wire fence stretcher tensions 2x4 horse fence wire and 3 in. spaced vertical stay fixed knot wire.

- A: The Bekaert 5ft stretcher bar is designed to tension all woven wire fence fabric up to and including 60-inch-tall fence. The fence description link you posted is a 26 horizontal line wire fence 72 inches tall. This bar will not work for fabric this tall.a year agoHelpful?

Q: Does this product get attached to some kind of puller or is it by hand once the fence is secured into the device? We have a puller with one hook designed for chain link that we would like to attach this to and pull.

- A: A chain link puller will not work for this application, it will pull the stays of the fabric down the line wires. The Bekaert Stretcher bar attaches the the fence fabric using a wedge lock system. The Stretcher bar is then pulled to the corner post using a device such as the Bekaert stretcher bar puller product #632994 or similar pulling device: https://youtu.be/Ql40AK1oCM04 years agoHelpful?

- A: A 5 foot bar will not work with a 6 foot fence. Not all the wires will be under a wedge so it will not pull equally. Technically it could work, and would pull the majority of the wires if this is your only option. if you are not concerned with a loose top or bottom wire, it would tension the majority of the rest of the wires5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Would this work on shorter field fence as well? I have several different fence type and cross fencing. Looking for tool that would be versatile for all.
