Side Effects

Anti-anxiety medication can lead to a phenomenon known as "disinhibition." This means the consequences of aggressive behavior are removed, therefore leading to a reduction in the animal's inhibitions about said behavior. Animals not exhibiting aggressive behavior could exhibit aggressive behavior while taking this medication.
