Q: What sorts of things would you use this for?

1 Answer
  • A: pulling behind a UTV / four wheeler and breaking up the ground. These are good for feed plots for hunting, as they can be moved around a little easier, and don't necessarily require a large tractor or trailer to move from one field to another. They are also good for small hobby farmers or homesteaders, as they are a low cost form of breaking up the ground. You can add weight in the baskets, to push the discs deeper into the ground.

TRASH

Trash. Made very cheap. Does not hold up even under light use. All the disc bent after 3 uses and one tire popped.

PLEASE purchase another implement

I purchased this and assembled it with a trip to town for missing pieces. Once assembled I was pretty excited with it. I used it on a acre food plot and when i was done the frame was twisted almost to the point it wasn't useable. I don't recommend you purchase this. You'll be happy to have spent a little extra and got something that actually works. TSC did refund me which I appreciated since it was such a horrible experience. Field tuff I'm skeptical of at this point.

Do not recommend

Not happy with this field tuff company at all. I had to buy hardware because it did not come with all of the bolts or the big washers for the disc assembly. It says this disc gang is very adjustable for different angles. The holes only line up in 1 position. Could not get all of the parts onto the disc gang correctly. Once I used it for an hour everything wore to the point where everything on the disc gang assembly would now fit correctly but that resulted in rounding the threads and the square tubing.

No, I do not recommend this product.
