Rugged, Reliable Product

I have a 1 acre catching lot for my cattle right outside my barn. I recently replaced the field fence wire, hog wire, with the feedlot panels. We usually catch between 65 and 70 700lb+heifers each year to work and load for shipment. No matter how wild or crazy the cattle are, these panels, set with 5" round treated posts on 8' centers, will hold anything!!! Great product!

New ones are terrible and fairly dangerous

We've used these panel for many garden projects in the past and they've been fantastic. However, our most recent ones have the bars all sticking out of the edges and they're all lined up differently. This is pretty terrible. You can no longer safely handle them, as they are pretty sure to snag, stab or tear you on every edge. I called the store manager to ask about the rest of them and he said they received three full bundles of the 16 foot panels and every one is like that... "I guess that's how they make them now". I'll cut and grind off the two panels I bought because I don't want to go through loading them up again, but this'll be the last ones I get from TSC. Sorry, but this is way too much hassle for what is now poor quality.

Changed hole spacing design

Overall they are very useable and good quality however the design did change from previous. Now instead of 2 small openings on the bottom and the rest being larger, there is one row of medium sized holes about knee high. This is the exact height where my goats put their head through to eat grain from their feeders and sometimes their heads get stuck. Just wanted to alert people that the hole sizes are different than previous panels.

Yes, I recommend this product.

MY NEW FAVORITE STORE AND EMPLOYEES

Josh and Vern have helped me two days this week in BIG ways! Helped me cut livestock panel, load my car, find the right part, and even teach me how to use it! Vern helped me assemble a wagon bc he could tell I needed help, and Josh helped me avoid buying something I didn’t need and then load up all the things I bought, along Jeffrey teaching me how to do things all along the way. Both my experiences here were like a master class in how to feel comfortable in a hardware store. It’s my new favorite store! Thanks Vern and Josh and Jeffrey!!
