Works great, even with plastic waterer!

I was nervous when I first bought this because on the box it said do not use with a plastic waterer, I only have a plastic waterer. I was afraid it might get warm enough to melt the plastic. But it has been working great for about a month now. It only turns on when it gets below 35 so it saves power. I just checked in the coop, its keeping the water warm even at 19! Defiantly worth it for our cold winters

Poor Quality

Died after 3 months. I had the unit in a dry covered area in the chicken run just like the instructions said to do but somehow still decided to stop working. Considering the pice of this product you would think it would last more then a few months. Very disappointed and annoyed.
