Works great, even with plastic waterer!

I was nervous when I first bought this because on the box it said do not use with a plastic waterer, I only have a plastic waterer. I was afraid it might get warm enough to melt the plastic. But it has been working great for about a month now. It only turns on when it gets below 35 so it saves power. I just checked in the coop, its keeping the water warm even at 19! Defiantly worth it for our cold winters

I was a little skeptical at first, especially since plugging it in doesn't mean it'll turn on because it's based on actual temperature outside. That said every morning when i check the water it's not frozen, even when it was -3 F and my chickens are happy to have drinkable water. Seems like an overall good product.
