This straw mulch is amazing and I wish I would have found this in the spring when I started my garden. It has really protected my fruit and vegetables from all of the heat & rain we have gotten this summer. It has also sped up the germination time on new vegetables I am trying to grow. A little goes a long way. I am still on my first bag.

I tried using a garden straw in my garden this year and the weed load was outrageous. I used this product the two previous years and barely had weeds. I obviously switched back to this brand.

I use this to mulch around my vegetable plants. It helps hold the moisture and inhibits weed growth. It stays put where you place it and does not blow away. I like that I can till it into the ground for compost. The bags were larger so you were getting a little more for your money. These smaller bags are easier to handle. It's packed very tight so it covers more than you think it would. I was happy to find this product with no seeds so I could use it in the garden!
