The Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait 1.5 lb. combines two active ingredients to control fire ant infestations. Approved for use in rangeland and pastures, the fire ant bait sterilizes the queen and prevents rebound. This ant bait also includes adulticide that kills problem worker ants upon ingestion.

- A: We would not use in an area that a animal can get to. In this situation, since they are wanting the animal to play in that area, I would recommend individual mound treatment. The customer won’t put the animal close to the mounds of the fire ants.2 years agoHelpful?

I have tried every ant killer on the market and the local BLM person told me about extinguish Plus I ordered a jug of it and I killed ant hills that I have been fighting to kill off for 17 years and couldn't kill them two applications of extinguish and they're gone I've got little new ones cropping up and I need more of it this stuff is just unbelievable you just shake some on the ant hill and go away wait two weeks sprinkle a little bit more
on and the hills gone. Kills black ants carpenter ants fire ants termites I have ants that I don't even know what time they are but they're horrible and this stuff kills them

I’ve used it on several ant hills and the next day there was no activity, several days later still no activity!! When you sprinkle it around the nest they grab it right away! Definitely would buy again
