Love Tractor Supply but this one time…

I love Tractor Supply and will continue to shop there, however… I purchased this grill on line and picked up curbside. When the 2 gentlemen brought it out, the box was completely soaked. I asked if it should be ok, and they said yes, it’s all wrapped in plastic inside. When I asked if there was another one, they said it was the last one in stock. I was desperately in need of the grill for that weekend, so I took it home. Upon unboxing it, and subsequently putting it together, many of the boxes and packaging were equally soaked and had black mold through it (see pictures). I reluctantly put it together as it would have ruined the graduation party otherwise. Many of the screws and hardware were partially rusted. The grill looks ok assembled, but I worry about the life span since it started this way. Shame on me for not sucking it up and returning it, but really disappointed that I had to make that choice.

Terrible customer service

Bought this grill. Would not heat up above 200 F. Tried a new propane tank and still the same situation. This customer service with this company is terrible. You cannot call them. You are instructed to send an email. I sent them an email and they never responded. I returned this grill to Tractor Supply and bought a Weber grill which worked great with the same propane tank. I would never consider an Evan Embers grill due to the poor customer service.

Fire Hazard

I purchased this Even Embers grill less than a year ago. Over the past three weeks, the grill has consistently cooked unevenly, making it difficult to use reliably. I had hoped this was a minor issue that could be corrected, but what happened today raises far more serious concerns..
During a routine grilling session today, the grill suddenly caught on fire. The flames escalated quickly and unexpectedly while I was standing at the grill. As I tried to extinguish the fire, the flames scorched my hair and ignited my shirt. Thankfully, I was able to put out the fire before the situation became even worse, but this incident could easily have resulted in serious injury or property damage.
A grill that is less than a year old should not present this type of safety hazard. At this point, I do not know whether I received a defective unit or whether this reflects a broader quality issue with this product line, but either possibility is deeply concerning.
I expect this matter to be taken seriously. I am interested in understanding how Even Embers plans to ensure that other customers are not put at risk by a similar incident.
No, I do not recommend this product.
