Prestige 4 Vaccine is effective against equine encephalomyelitis viruses (eastern and western), tetanus toxoid and influenza (EIV). This horse vaccine is suitable for horses 6 months of age or older. For ongoing immunity, annual booster shots are recommended. This Prestige 4 vaccine is available in 10-dose vials.How it Works

Killed/modified viruses provide immunity against Encephalomyelitis Viruses (Eastern and Western), Tetanus Toxoid and the influenza (EIV)

Special Precautions

Keep away from children and animals. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

Overdose Information

Side Effects

Local reaction may occur if this product is given subcutaneously. Inject deep into the muscle only. Anaphylactic reactions may occur. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine.

Storage

Store at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F).

Active Ingredients

A combination of inactivated, concentrated, adjuvanted, tissue culture origin equine encephalomyelitis viruses (Eastern and Western), equine influenza virus type H3N8 strains (EIV A/Equine 2/ Kentucky/93 American, EIV A/Equine 2/Kentucky/02 American and EIV A/Equine 2/Newmarket/2/93 Eurasian) and tetanus toxoid.

  • Vaccinates horses against equine encephalomyelitis viruses (eastern and western), tetanus toxoid and influenza (EIV)
  • Helps prevent disease and reduce virus shedding caused by influenza (EIV)
  • Contains a combination of killed/modified viruses
  • Safe for healthy horses 6 months of age or older
  • 10 mL vial of the Prestige 4 vaccine
  • 10 doses per vial
  • Cold ship only

Great Service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this for the first time online. We usually buy it locally, but they didn't have enough. It arrived overnight packed with cold packs that were still frozen. We had three horses to vaccinate and there were no adverse reactions.
