- A: Do not keep the generator covered while it is running. The motor needs airflow and the exhaust gases need to escape. The generator can be partially covered, from my experience, with a homemade sound absorbing set of panels that still leave the front and back sections open to air.3 years ago

Q: Will this cover fit the XP4850EH which is 25x24x21? This cover's dimensions shown are 26x16.5x17 which does not fit the dimensions of the XP4400E indicated.

- A: Yes, this generator cover will fit the XP4850EH and XP4400E. Please note that the measurements for the XP4850EH will be 24"x22"x22" and the cover will be built to cover the frame of the generator and not built to go down to the bottom of the wheels.5 years ago

I recently purchased th iGen4000DFcv. I just completed the break in. It runs great on propane. Plan on storing in RV storage compartment and running propane will work well for me. So far happy with this generator
