- A: The minimum recommended tank size for use with the XP13000HX is 40 lbs, as undersized tanks are likely to freeze during operation and prematurely cut off fuel flow. At 50% load, the XP13000HX uses 1.09 gallons of propane per hour, so a 100lb tank holding 18.8 gallons of fuel should last about 17 hours. At 25% load, the fuel consumption drops to 0.55 gallons of propane per hour, so that same 100lb tank would last about 34 hours instead.6 days ago

- A: The XP13000HX does include a recoil start option in addition to the push button start option, yes. Generator maintenance is covered in the product manual, either to be performed at home or taken to a local service center for assistance.5 months ago
Q: my service breaker box is bonded ground and neutral so is Duromax13000watt generator floating neutral to safely connect to my breaker box? thanks

- A: It depends how the connect it to the breaker box. If they used the 50 amp inlet like you have then its bonded with the power cord. A lot of people rig their connection and its not safe that way, cuz the question doesnt mention anything about an interlock kit or power inlet box10 months ago

Great but CO2 sensor is TOO Sensitive

I’ve had this machine for about a month and a half. I use it as a portable generator for my food trailer. Pro: Lots of power, not as loud as I thought it would be. Cons, CO2 sensor is FAR too sensitive. Even in an open area if there is no breeze the CO2 sensor will trigger shut down. I have to set up a strong fan to blow exhaust away in order to keep it running.

Generator arrived early unpackaged, and the nuts for the axles were missing so I had to go purchase those other than that. It was an easy assembly and everything worked like it should. I’m very satisfied with it.

Great machine but….

I like everything about the machine except for 2 things. #1 the CO2 sensor is far too sensitive. It will turn the machine off when it is in an open area but there is no wind..I have to set up a fan to blow across the machine in order to not trip the CO2 sensor. #2 the handles for moving in around are not sturdy and easily bend near the welded hinges. I see.them breaking over time.
