The DuraVent 6 in. Diameter 90 Degree Adjustable Elbow Double Wall completes the venting system when used with one of DuraVent's chimney products such as DuraTech, DuraPlus, or DuraPlus HTC. The adjustable elbow double-wall, air-insulated design reduces clearances to combustibles from 18 in. to 6 in., the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. This elbow double wall improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft.

Adjustable But Difficult to Achieve

Dura-Vent vents seem to be well made and this ELL is difficult to adjust. I’ve tried every which way to spin the sections and finally came up with a way to accomplish it. Having a double wall certainly adds to the difficulty.
I found that if you place the ELL (elbow) with one of the open ends down on a carpeted floor and clamping the lower end with your feet (soft sneakers will avoid scratching the exterior) and twisting the desired upper section with both hands, you can manage to spin it a little at a time. It does take a bit of strength to do so though, & enlisting some additional help may be necessary.

Ended up returning as we could not get them to adjust. Very difficult to work with. Ended up buying two 45s that thankfully worked. But were also hard to adjust.
