Q: Repeating my question as was informed by cust serv at number in answer you gave that they are unable to answer as the vendor must be contacted. What is NSC? RFV? Are they dusty?

- A: The manufacturer has provided: Premium Alfalfa plants are dusty, it's a green dust, as part of the plant. It is not a mold or a dirt. This is an organic product so dust is expected. Tractor Supply and the manufacturer, Covenant Hay Company, do not perform testing on the hay to provide the NSC or RFV. Both of which can vary based on the cuttings and the lots of each bale of hay.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the NSC? And what is the RFV averaging as sure you’re getting hay from different suppliers? Are bales dusty at all?
