Q: How much would we feed the baby goat once it turns 4 weeks and how many times a day?
a year ago- A: Feeding recommendations a day refers to a period of 24 hours. If feeding 2 or 3 times per day (3 is recommended for younger small ruminants) you should have the intervals between feedings as even as possible. So the ideal 3 X per day feeding schedule would be 8 am 4 PM and Midnight. One can hedge and hour two to fit sleep or work schedules, but whatever the program, stay consistent day to day. Once the kid reaches 2 or 3 weeks of age you can go to 2 x per day feedings at 12 hour intervals as they will be eating grass, hay or grain in between.a year agoHelpful?
