BEST I've found by far

I just love this brand and quality of this salt. From all the brands I have tried, this is the BEST. It lasts longer then other brands I have tried, it's priced right and the overall effects on my laundry, cleaning, etc. is superior to anything else out there in my book
Getting this on sale from time to time is an extra plus for me

Poorly Designed Bag

Stopped by TSC for some salt and the price was good compared to competitors; however, I was very disappointed in the user-friendliness of the bags. The perforated area for opening the bags was difficult to tear open and I had to resort to using scissors. This may have been due to the fact that the bags were wet, but I don't think so.
My other issue with the bags is that there was no handle on the bottom of the bag. This lack of handle made transporting the bag more difficult. My kids like to help me unload, but weren't able to with just the one handle. It also made it very difficult to pour the salt into the softener. I'm hoping the quality of the salt doesn't match the quality of the bags.

Not packaged as advertised

I specifically wanted diamond brand salt for my softener but the packaging wasn’t diamond although the scu was proper. I returned it before taking home.

Good Product, Bad Packaging

This salt works well in my water softener, but getting it to my basement is a problem. First, I have to sort through the bags on the pallets to find bags that do not have holes in them which will leave a trial of salt from the door to the softener. Second, the bag handles are so weak that you can't lift them by only one handle without it tearing out. This means carrying one bag at a time from the car to the basement, for me that's six trips.
