Plastic holds chain bar in place. Not likely to hold up. Would rate higher if this was metal. Battery lasts less than 30 minutes so it is hard to get much done. It is great to not worry about mixing gas or pull starting though.

Great Saw

So far so good with this saw. A nice long bar that has plenty of power to deal with the odd limb or tree around the yard. For the non-professional, it should be all you need and you no longer need to worry about old fuel gunking up your saw or not having the right mix on hand. Another benefit to electric is that you can store it inside a home, or vehicle, and not worry about breathing gas.

I ordered this chainsaw online from TSC but it did not come with the battery or charger. Called TSC customer service and they wouldn't acknowledge that it was supposed to come with the battery or charger even though it's in the description on their own website.
No, I do not recommend this product.
