I had been struggling to keep my gas powered chainsaw operating, infrequent use was the principal issue. As the primary purpose was for light to moderate occasional work around the house, I figured I would look into an Electric powered chainsaw. I was really wanting a fully US made and assembled brand. I had to compromise price for fully US assembled. I am so happy. From easy setup instructions to plug and go use. I was so impressed, I went and bought a dedicated 100 ft 12 Ga 20 amp max extension cord as stated in the manual.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great saw, just be careful of the tensioner.

Great saw. Tons of power and very safe for a chain saw. The chain stops instantly when you release the trigger. My only complaint is the tensioner. I broke mine, and I am happy to take the blame, but I am having a hard time getting a replacement. Take it easy when adjusting it.
