I bought this compressor a little over a year ago. First major project and it is leaking air. Cumulative use less than a month over the past year.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poor build quality and unacceptable repair period

Compressor is only two months old and barely used. It has stopped building pressure beyond about 55 PSI. The nearest authorized warranty repair center said it will take two months before they can complete the repair. Now it looks like I will be ordering parts and attempting the repair myself so we can finish installing my daughter's hardwood floor. I like the lightweight, quiet and easy to carry form of the compressor but hey, this simple machine should run for years, not two months.

Regulator leaks

Regulator leaks, parts not available, must replace whole manifold which is discontinued for Type 1. No replacement alternative given (Will manifold from type 4 work???)

Worked for a few years

I've had this compressor for a few years and it's done some great jobs. It's relatively lightweight and comfortable to carry. It's pretty quiet as well. However, the regulator finally gave out, just like others have pointed out. I don't use it regularly, but I'd expect something with the Dewalt name to last many many years. Disappointing.
