Q: I just replaced my drive belt with the nx-15 and it is tight on one side but not the other and it’s causing my cub cadet xt1 LT42B to not move but a little bit then belt acts like it’s slipping

- A: Hi, Here is the information we received from the vendor- "Unfortunately, part number 490-501-C061 will NOT fit the Cub Cadet LTX 1040 (Model # 3WX90AS010).We do however have a drive belt that will work with that unit." We took the part to Maynards in Huntsville Al to fix the tractor. The mechanic advised us the part might be the wrong one so we are waiting to hear what the issue is. It's possible the transmission is bad. Cub Cadet is reviewing photos and we wait hoping for the best. My husband loves the tractor.
