This Cub Cadet Cub 3X Shear Pins Set is for three-stage snow blowers (OE# 738-06654, 738-05273, 714-04040). Shear pins are made to help protect a snow blower from damage if the impeller comes into contact with a solid object. In this snow blower shear pins set, there are four auger shear pins, four auger bow-tie cotter pins, two accelerator shear pins, and two accelerator bow-tie cotter pins.

Shear pins are good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shear pins are good but not impressed with the 3X snowblower. Brand new machine and after using it for 15 minutes the power drops to idle speed. Nice machine when it's working. Unfortunately I have to take it to the cub cadet dealer where I bought it from and that will take 3 weeks to fix the machine.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Much more durable than the orig. on mod. #31AH7DVX710. All the original pins sheared off after the second use this season. Snow Blower is brand new. Of course, now I need more pins - just in case.
