To change the direction from forward to reverse, you must physically reconfigure the tiller, which involves reversing the gearbox and reorienting the tines. Good price for a good product. I have only used it a few tines but wirks great!! Ni problems putting it together except for the fact that I didn't get the hardware when i picked it up. Not sure if i lost or is tractor supply didn't give it to me. I went back to the site and they had no problem taking the hardware box from another rototiller on display and giving it to me. Maybe that's what happened from a previous purchaser. I don't know. All in all everything went tigether well and i am satisfied with this machine!!

Works as it should, both gearbox vents were stripped and required replacement. Quality seems to be an issue with anything county line so do your research and don’t try and save a buck. We will see how long it lasts
