Great piece of equipment

We purchased this for use on our food plots (11 acres). It worked like a champ. Cut a nice deep furrow in the weed laden plot. Made a cut every 4 ft. then used the disc harrows to finish cut and chop weeds and open soil. Great investment. Make sure you have a couple of spare sets of bolts. When you hook the big rock it may just break the bolts. This is just what it should do.

Poor plow design

Look carefully at the space above this plow, between the top of the plow and the cross frame, and you will see why I returned this plow to the store after the first attempted use. The plow will immediately jam with dirt if used at full depth because there is insufficient space above the shares for the dirt to egress. Note to design engineers: If a plow has an 8" depth of cut you need to provide at least 8" of clearance above the plow shares for the dirt path. Better to give 10" due to expansion as the dirt is disturbed. Sorry, but this one needs to go back to the drawing board.

It’s now mid-September and.. nothing delivered. Expected delivery Aug 30th. Tractor supply can give no answers so this is not against County Line, but TS. Can’t use it if I don’t have it

Impressive Results for food plot using Ford 8N.

Impressive results breaking ground in partially hard-wood forested food plot using an old Ford 8N. Beyond turning the soil over, the middle buster broke through large tree roots, and even did work in some really muddy areas.
