Rated 5 out of 5 by from It cuts and Rips It cuts and rips through the hard soil and roots like a knife through butter I also used it for edging my wifes gardens all I had to do is put 5/8 pins for my sub-compact tractor three point hitch I love it helps out alot by riping out roots

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two tools for the price of one. I bought this tool with the idea that I could loosen compacted soil with the subsoiler, and turn the soil with the middle buster. It does both well and has proven to be a useful attachment for the category zero three point hitch on my John Deere 318. I did change the lower lift arm category one pins which came with it to category zero to fit my tractor. The spacing between the pins is twenty inches.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I thought I was getting. Bought this plow about 4 months ago and it works great, I use it on a ford 8n without any issues.  I have dug several drainage ditches and plowed furrows in my garden with it.  I have fairly loose soil in the garden area but trenched in packed dirt, just have to make a few passes.  I could see how hitching it on to a 60hp diesel and trying to dig a trench with it buryied to the hilt and would cause failures but using it on a matched medium duty tractor like mine it works great.  I only gave 4 stars because it is kind of light and although that makes it easy to move around the barn, it doesnt give it much depth while making trenches.  I plan to put some sand bags on it the next time I am trenching and that should help.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from See photo for results of first use.  Hit a root, and this is what happened before I knew it.
