Damage and patched stock tank

Tank was damage and had been patched with some type of plumbers putty. When I fill it with water it leaves a film that looks like oil on the top of the water. It would be nice if defective products were not present for sale to customers.

23-Gallon Water Trough is Perfect

We needed something that was large enough for four parent and four baby goats that would allow all to drink, but not be a danger for the little ones to drown!
We saw this very durable, galvanized trough on the Tractor Supply website and chose it over the similar plastic/HDPM models seen on other websites for the steel construction and many years of anticipated use. Thanks Tractor Supply.
PS: We did have to have it shipped/picked up at the closest store, which took several weeks because we are in Oregon.

The quality of this is very poor. Im quite disappointed as i paid quite a bit for it. The inside is VERY sloppy and the Countyline decal is scratched up. Im quite disappointed

When I arrived to pick up my ship to store tank, the tank was dented, out of round and looked like UPS kicked it out of the truck going 60 mph. We asked the store rep about a replacement but we would have to wait another week and it could be dented also. Since I just needed it to hold water I took it.
