The trap is nice and I appreciate the live animal cage option! My only complaint about the trap is that the little hooks that holds it open, one of ours didn’t work properly. The trap wouldn’t close if both hooks were used. But it worked well enough with using just one hook to hold the trap open

Difficult to set

Paid $200 for this trap. Ordered online for in-store pick up. When i picked up, it is bent. Took anyway because I was in dire need of it an they didnt have another in stock. Setting the trap door is very difficult during to the duel latch. They both dont line up an hold.

Extremely cheaply made

Purchased trap and within a month 3x a fox or a coyote has bent internal and external bars making the escape before I could get there and now that bars are bent the durability is lost when I bend them back it’s just another weak point to the cage… waste of money will not withstand any type of dog let alone could of been a coon but probably a dog because it won’t enter the cage again after 3 whodini escapes it’s had enough even with live bait
