- A: This SKU is 3/8 X 18 in. hydraulic hose. It has 3/8 male pipe thread ends so if the length is matched and the connection points are 3/8 female pipe thread then it should be correct.6 days agoHelpful?

- A: If the hydraulic hose is being used for its intended purpose, then “No” it should not be used for water. The water will rust the steel fittings and couplers attached to the hose. Also, the oils and chemicals used to manufacture the hose will contaminate the water.20 days agoHelpful?

Q: my current hydraulic hose is 100R1AT and this product is 100R2AT. I dont need to change the entire hydraulic system, just 2 hoses. Is it ok to use the 2 wire instead of the 1 wire or will this cause an issue in flow or pressure????

- A: The 100R2AT is a higher pressure hose. As long as you replace with the same inner diameter as the original hose you should have no problems.5 years agoHelpful?
