Exactly What I Have Been Looking For

I purchased a couple of these fans last year to mount in my horses' stalls. The design and power of this fan makes it a safer and a more practical choice, for dusty barns, than box fans. The stalls, in my barn, are 10' x16' and, when the fans are turned on high, it keeps the air circulating throughout the entire stall. My horses can now comfortably stay indoors during the hot and humid, Midwest summers. They sweat less (on many days they don’t sweat at all) and the air from the fans keeps flies off of them as well. If you are a horse owner, this is a great investment that you won't regret.

No chain, no fan!

I bought two of these fans because I thought that they would be safe to use in our horse stalls. The chains broke off inside the switch box on both of them within two months. The four page manual says nothing about fixing this problem and customer support is non-existent, so I now have two dead fans to take down and replace.

Good fan but could be better

We bought 3 of these a couple of years ago for our barn. We like them very much and they’re extremely easy install/hang. The only problem is that after 2 years, the switch on one broke and another is failing. I called customer service and there are replacement switch boxes but they won’t have any in stock until the end of the year. Therefore we had to buy 3 new ones. They need to upgrade the switch boxes and upgrade the pull chains to all metal instead of a metal section and a plastic section. But, obviously, I would buy again.

Hard to install!

I purchased this fan on sale. It's a closed motor which I needed for my barn. However it's a horrible fan to hang. The screws for the brace are not attached to the fan structure. You have to use the wall bracket to mark the holes. You have to attach the fan as a whole because the screws will fall into the fan guards. The fan works well but it's not fun to install!

This barn fan really moves some air. It is powerful and a must have for hot Texas summers. It keeps the chicken coop so much more tolerable and it is worth the investment.
