Read the reviews, however I did have some concerns after buying. The instructions were not clear enough, I ended up putting the blade on backwards and had to turn it around. The mounting bracket was cheap, it could have been just a L piece of metal and just shoot a couple screws to hold it up, instead of the flimsy sheet metal and plastic that comes with it. The pull string to turn it on and change speed is ok but the motor moves a lot when you pull it and it seems like it doesn’t change speeds very well, maybe little bit slower, it’s hard to tell if any difference in speed. I saved about $110 compared to another place, and have it mounted so I will keep it. Seems waterproof

Pretty easy to hang except I couldn’t get the screws on the cover to align so I had to take it down to attach cover. I wish the oscillating switch was on the bottom because I have it mounted about 7 feet high.
