Q: How does installation work? Stupid question, I know, but does it have precut holes/grommets and then secure with zip ties? Wanting to use as a shade over the front of my chicken run and really nothing to secure with on the ground.

Cool Down Your Outdoor Living Area

I love the Coolaroo Sun Protection Shade. It has worked perfect for blocking the harsh sun from our gazebo, and with the HeatShield technology it keeps the area cool and more comfortable. The shade material feels very durable, blocks 90% of UV rays, and is breathable. The setup was very easy too … it comes in a 6ft x 15ft roll that can be cut to whichever size is needed. I cut enough to block the side of our gazebo that always gets too much sun. It worked great .. I can’t wait to find more places to use it. The Coolaroo is a great choice for making outdoor living more comfortable. ☀️

Sun protection fabric shade that’s customizable!

This sun protection shade fabric is great! It blocks 90 % UV rays and it is a large piece of fabric that can be customized into smaller pieces if needed. It is a thick and sturdy material. It seems fairly easy to work with. I plan on hanging it from my patio to give some protection from the sun.

Our patio gets blasted by the afternoon sun, so l was hoping this would help. It ended up making a bigger difference than I expected. You can actually sit under the pergola without feeling the heat beating down on you, and the gray fabric looks clean without standing out. Looking forward to spending a lot more evenings outside now.

Cool shade for hot days

An interesting thing happened almost immediately after we put this fabric on top of our pergola. The temperature dropped significantly and our Husky decided that particular spot of shade is a good place to shelter from the heat .think it looks pretty good and was easy to use.
