This is great if you can build the infrastructure to hang it. You need some posts. We had a hard time finding how to use it even though my husband seems to buy stuff like this for his plants all the time

Was really excited to use this product as it is decent size, but then realized it does not include anything to install it so had to give it to my parents as they have more time to build something to put it on.

I received this sun protection item in exchange for my honest opinion, and it does definitely works, but I have some things I require from it before I say I 100% support the item. First, I know the pictures look silly, but I am trying to buy a new pergola, so I didn't want to put this on the current one that I have had for 12 years. So, in order to still use the product but also be comfortable, I used a double folding chair with an umbrella. It was a great temporary usage of this item that allowed me to relax in the sun but also use it. I included a photo of the weather for today which is 93 degrees in Texas and I was outside at about 5:43pm to 6:46pm because I wanted to give this an hour of usage before judging on multiple days and I will say that I did notice a big enough difference that I didn't feel like a baked potato but I think it worked much much better when I folded the fabric in half and used it that way instead. Again it was 93 degrees on multiple occasions, so I felt this sweatiness that I did not enjoy from the weather but when under this fabric I appreciated the reprieve from the extreme levels of heat especially when I turned it on the "right" side of things. It was also very easy to open and unroll, so that was great if you were using the product and wanted something easy to set up and use. I will say that as I mentioned earlier, doubling things up worked much better, so I don't know if the company could make a thicker fabric specifically for hotter locations or beneath the Mason dixon line. It feels like a thick wicker like fabric which set my mind at ease when unrolling it and using it because i knew it would at least protect me from the sun better than something flimsy made but again just make it slightly thicker for hotter days. All in all, I would suggest this for lukewarm or slightly hot days, but if you are dealing with a scorcher, I would suggest doubling the fabric up in order to avoid the heat. It feels thick or wicker like so I felt confident that it would at least try to protect me from the heat but I will say I noticed that it works much better on one side versus the other and again I felt safer or more protected when I doubled it up. I'd say buy this if you want to use your backyard more because it did reduce the harsher sun rays when I sat outside and allowed me to relax more than if I just sat outside with no protection. 4/5 Nice product, and I would suggest
