- A: If a unit is unburned, and purchased on the comfortbilt site, it may be shipped back directly to Comfortbilt for a shipping charge of $400 in its original packaging. Without a restocking fee. If a unit is purchased on any platform such as a big box channel, any returns must be resolved by the entity within 30 days.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Follow-up on the previous question and your Ash Pan response -- how often would you expect to open the stove and clean the burn pan ? On my PP130 it clogs up about every 24 hours - sounds like this stove NOT do that and is much better ?

- A: Frequency of cleaning the burn pot will depend a lot on your setup, and the quality of your pellets. Most of our customers will shut down and clean out the pot about twice a week or so. (some more and some less, but that is about the average).2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does this have someway to empty the burn pan without taking it out (ie. a lever to drop the ash into an Ash Pan under the stove) or something ?

- A: The air pressure beneath the burn pot is what keeps it clean. Once the pellets reduce to ash, the airflow carries that ash up and pushes it out the the sides in a V pattern so that most of it it deposited into the ash pan chamber below.2 years agoHelpful?

Really like the way the stove works, runs quiet easy to set up and run, real easy to clean compared to the other one I had. The only draw back is the fact that the door on top of stove to put pellets in is way to small, most doors are at least 2 times the size of yours, would be nice if it coulkd be retro fitted to double size the door opening. more pellets go on top of stove and the floor than in the stove the way it is. Bought this stove to replace a pelletpro pp130. The difference is night and day. Heat output is unbelievable. Would give it 5 stars but there is a buzz or rattle at sertain fan speeds. Goes away after a minute. Probably a loose panel. Will find it when I remove ashes.

Stove works well but definitely make sure to inspect once delivered for no damage because ours had internal damage and damaged the moters and wiring hardware that we didn't see from a damaged pallet that it was sitting on was the first sign we missed.

We have been using our comfortbilt HP22-N for about 3/4 weeks now. For the most part we love it. It's easy to use, easy to clean and maintain. The only thing is the thermostate. We set it to maintain 72 and sometimes it shuts off at 68, sometimes it shuts off at 75. Same thing for coming back on - it's always between 3-5 degrees off in turning off and on. Other than that small inconvience we love it.
