Carprofen Chewable Tablets are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve joint pain and inflammation caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis, arthritis, hip dysplasia, or post-surgery recovery. It also works as an effective fever reducer. Carprofen is available by prescription only and comes in a chewable tablet form to be administered to your dog orally. How it Works
The mechanism of action of carprofen, like that of other NSAIDs, is believed to be associated with the inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity.
Special Precautions
Keep away from children. Carprofen Chewable Tabs should not be used in dogs exhibiting previous hypersensitivity to carprofen.
Overdose Information
