Carhartt durability meets all-weather coverage and insulation in this women's insulated jacket. A combination of a Storm Defender waterproof, breathable protection and an insulated, wind-resistant build seals out cold, wet weather. Synthetic insulation throughout seals in heat without bulk. I love the carhartt brand. But I was a little disappointed with a few features of this coat, especially given the price. I don’t like the Velcro tabs on the front. I wish they were sturdy snaps. Also, I think the sleeve cuffs could be better. I have long arms, so if I reach, the sleeves ride up. Otherwise, the coat is nice. I ordered a larger size, so the sleeves are a little longer on me, and I will return the smaller one.
My main reason for buying the coat was the side slit feature. It will provide more comfort when riding snowmobiles in the winter.

Love this coat!!! Keeps me warm and dry. At first, I was frustrated with all the velcro, but now I am using it to my advantage. I hate being cold and this coat is the answer to staying warm in wet, cold weather!

I love my coat! I haven't gotten the chance to try it out with snowy weather yet but it still keeps me warm on those 30 degree mornings and I can still move around in it.
