I just added the insulated bibs to my Carhart collection. We live in the Mountains of Wyoming, these bibs keep me out side a lot longer. They ward off the winds and cold. Super comfortable and don't feel too bulky.

They're warm enough, and I like the color and idea of them, but the sizing is all off, especially for something marketed as "loose fit" or "relaxed fit". I am normally a size 2 or 4 and 5'3" and judging by the size chart, and the survey questions you can answer which tell you what size would fit you best based on how other brands fit, I should have purchased a small with a short inseam. I figured I should size up to a medium so that I could layer underneath them for especially cold mornings, however when I received my medium, shot length bibs, they were so tight through the hips and thighs and very strained across my chest. It was extremely uncomfortable and that was without any layering underneath them. My body composition is fairly average for my size and weight. I have average sized hips and and I would consider myself to be medium chested, although I wear a size small in shirts. The recommended inseam was also not great. They hit a little high on my ankle which is fine because I planned to wear them with boots, however when I sit down they come up to my mid-shin. Overall, they are warm and I could see how they would be comfortable if you could find the right size for your body. They are constructed nicely. Just be aware of the extremely odd sizing.

Considering buying another pair as they are keeping me toasty warm. The only reasons I did not give 5 stars is that the chest and back are not insulated. And the straps have limited adjustment range because of some elastic material. Perhaps I could have gone a size smaller but I like the layer option. Very durable and cozy.
