Nice quality jacket, but.....

I really like the jacket. I'm 6' 0" tall (190 lbs) and don't like when a shirt or jacket isn't long enough, so I bought a large tall, which is the size I typically wear for shirts. The length of the jacket is perfect, but the sleeves are too long in comparison so it is relatively annoying how long they are. However, the main problem is that the arm pits of the jacket cut into my arm pits to the point it is uncomfortable to wear for very long. I'm built pretty normal I'd say and have never had that problem before. I had the jacket embroidered with my company logo as soon as I got it so I couldn't return it. I probably should have gotten just a large and not a large tall (which would have fixed the sleeve problem but then probably been too short at the waist) but I assume that would have made the armpit issue even worse. I really wanted to love the jacket and wear it a lot but I'm afraid I'm going to have a love/hate relationship with it. I feel like Carhartt didn't get the proportions right when they designed it....

Thin material in arms. Nice looking jacket. not for the cold when wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath.

Almost the one.

I like the jacket overall but don't really care for the cuff area. It's to wide and big around. It doesn't taper down enough. If you pull it tighter with the Velcro there is a ton of folded fabric that doesn't look or feel right. I was thinking of returning the jacket but I do like it other than that so I'll probably keep it. Wish that area was a little tighter or had a better design. Also the jacket does seem to run a little smaller than other carhartt stuff I've owned. I'm 6'00 215. The large fit fairly snug and was even a little tight in the shoulders when moving you arms forward. A large usually fits me a lot looser than that.

Upper sleeves and shoulder are tighter than I expected, and I am not a big guy.
