Q&As

1 - 10 of 12 Questions

Q: I just gave my cat a dose of Frontline Plus 4 days ago. How long should I wait to give her one of these tablets?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "The consumer does not need to wait. They may administer now. Please note, CAPSTAR is designed to quickly kill only adult fleas during a flea infestation. It typically begins working within 30 minutes of administration and only lasts about 24 hours. This product can be re-dosed daily as needed, however if it is being used in a home setting, additional forms of flea control for both the pet and environment are recommended as this product will not kill eggs or fleas that are too young to bite. Therefore, we would recommend using a 30 day topical as well."

It helped with the first dose!

I was having a very heavy infestation of fleas with my cats and dogs and did everything I could to stay away from the harmful poison of the past. Capstar seemed to do the trick because there seem to be no more fleas and no more scratching. I still have the remaining doses but have yet to give a second dose. That's great news!

A little help for feral cats

I gave this medicine to six different feral cats, ranging in age from six months to seven years. I crushed the pills and sprinkled it on their wet food. I honestly don't know if it has helped them, but I try to get the feral cats any help I can within reasonable expense.

Yes, I recommend this product.
