Feed according to the amounts shown, which are based on the weight of your horse and its level of work. The following chart refers to the amount of CADENCE Ultra Sweet Pelleted Feed to feed in lb per day with minimum lb per day of hay. One quart of CADENCE Ultra weighs approximately 1.1 lb. Provide clean, fresh water and free-choice salt at all times. If feeding less than recommended amounts per day, add 1 lb of GRO 'N WIN or GRO 'N WIN Alfa for every 3 lb of CADENCE Ultra Sweet Pelleted Feed underfed.

It is always important to transition feeds slowly; we recommend doing this over a span of 10-14 days with incremental daily increases in the amount of the new product and decreases in the amount of the old product, until you reach the recommended feeding rate of the new product.
